At Avalancer, we specialize in avalanche control. Avalancer systems provide all the benefits of other systems with none of the drawbacks. There are no special construction permits required, as with stationary systems, like the Gaz-ex, and it can eliminate the need for explosive rounds upon which outdated mobile systems, like the Howitzer are dependent. With the versatility of a Howitzer, but with none of of the dangers that come with explosives, our mobile system can protect your site from avalanches. The Avalancer can launch inert projectiles at incredible rates of speed to deliver the shock needed to safely initiate controlled avalanches. And because it is firing inert projectiles, there's nothing to recover (or explode in an accident).
Additionally, the projectiles can travel greater distances than the artillery shells of WWII-era guns. The mobility allows for accuracy and modification of targeting. There is no longer a need for expensive helicopter flights to drop dynamite on a site or special permits for erecting a stationary system, where permanent placement can sometimes be ineffective.
